General description: This harpsichord is a reconstruction of an actual historic instrument, specifically a Celestini instrument from the Gemeentemuseum in Den Hague. Purposely built copies of original instruments allows for historically informed performances. In this way, the music performed stays as true as possible to the time period that it was written in with the risk of causing damage to the original by playing it. This harpsichord has a false "inner-outer" case with wooden jacks. The stringing is in Phosphor bronze-brass-iron.
