General description: Double English action with an escapement. Bone keys with ebony sharps. Two pedals in a lyre box are attached to the piano via a column-shaped lyre, the two pedals being a moderator and a damper. On the inside of the case is a label associated with the maker, Joannes Van Raay, who states he is an instrument maker for the king, as well as the types of instruments he makes and the location of his workshop.
